Brewing History Resources

The materials here are mostly grounded in my own current research concerns (the period 1760-1830, metropolitan porter brewing in Britain, and the rise of quantification and standardisation).  Currently installed are the following:

• Bibliography on the History of Brewing Currently contains a fairly comprehensive listing of eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century brewery manuals and other sources, plus a brief survey of some of the more general secondary studies. 
• Glossary of Brewing Terminology Geared towards my own period; may prove useful in the reading of historical brewery texts. 
• Transcripts from the History of Brewing Online versions of a few primary source texts, presented in HTML.
